New York - June 4, 2012: Tel Aviv will kick off its annual Pride Week 2012 this week through June 8th, featuring live musical performances, dance parties and a massive parade.
Voted the Best City of 2011 by GayCities.com, Tel Aviv is a hotspot for LGBT travelers, known for its buzzing beaches, nonstop nightlife and thriving art scene. Tel Aviv Pride Week will showcase a selection of musical performances and parties featuring international artists, including Kaktus & Susita (June 4), Ziona Patriot and Talul Bonet (June 5) and Gordon Beach Party (June 8).
"We are thrilled to host the upcoming Tel Aviv Pride Festival which is expected to draw tens of thousands of travelers to Tel Aviv," said Haim Gutin, Israel Commissioner for Tourism, North and South America. "The festival is a symbol of Tel Aviv's openness for travelers of all tastes and interests."
The parade will kick off with an opening celebration on June 8th, hosted by Tel Aviv Mayor Ron Huldai and continue onto Bograshov Street through Ben Yehuda Street and ending at Gordon Beach.
