· Paradisus Puerto Rico Set to Debut As Puerto Rico's First All-inclusive Resort MIAMI (September 8, 2003) - The newest jewel in Sol Meliá Hotels & Resorts' Americas Division crown is set to sparkle as the "pearl" of Puerto Rico. When Paradisus Puerto Rico opens on Dec.15, 2003, it promises to bring guests the ultimate and most comprehensive vacation experience - ever.
The posh 500-suite, five-star treasure will be Puerto Rico's first all-inclusive luxury resort and is poised to shine as the premier all-inclusive resort in the US and the Caribbean. Set on the sunny northeastern shore of the enchanting Caribbean island the Paradisus Puerto Rico nestles amid the exotic surroundings of the Miquillo Peninsula, within the city of Rio Grande, home to the renowned El Yunque National Rain Forest. Each of the spacious elegantly appointed suites will be set within 20 two-story bungalows, in addition to five garden villas and a Presidential Suite, each tucked within a lush wall garden with private terrace and swimming pool and 12 individual honeymoon suites with private Jacuzzi. Suite interiors will be fresh and contemporary, featuring custom designed mahogany furnishings and rich Spanish accents.
