· Zion National Park Lodge Offers Reduced Rates And Packages November 1, 2003 Through Mid-March 2004 ZION NATIONAL PARK (September 8, 2003) - Zion National Park's Zion Lodge has introduced its winter packages and rates for the upcoming season.
The "Awe-tumn" package, available Nov. 1 - 24, 2003, allows guests to book one night at full rate and receive the second night for 50 percent off. Full room rates at Zion Lodge are $120.40 for a standard room, $128.40 for a cabin and $143.40 for a suite. The Awe-tumn package is timed to coincide with the changing colors in Zion National Park. From Dec. 1, 2003 through March 10, 2004, the "Zion in Winter" rate is available Sunday through Thursday for $73.40 per night in a standard room, $83.40 in a western cabin or $118.40 in a suite. The winter rate increases by $10 Friday and Saturday nights. Breakfast for two is also included Sunday through Thursday on all nights stays with the exception of the holiday blackout period of Dec. 23 - 30, 2003 and Feb 13 & 14, 2004. Package prices do not include taxes or server's gratuities. The Zion Lodge New Year's Eve Package includes overnight accommodations on Dec. 31, deluxe dinner and breakfast buffet for two people on Jan. 1, 20034. Rates are $138.40 for a standard room, $148.40 for a cabin and $173.40 for a suite. For those guests not participating in the New Year's Eve package, 2003 season rates apply. Zion Lodge's Valentine's Week package is available Feb. 13 and 14, 2004 and includes overnight accommodations, chocolates, a deluxe dinner and breakfast buffet for two. Rates are $138.40 for a standard room, $148.40 for a cabin and $173.40 for a suite for two people. Additional persons may be added for $25. Taxes and gratuities are not included. For those guests not participating in the Valentine package, 2003 season rates apply. Zion Lodge offers 81 rooms, 40 cabins, a restaurant, cafe and a gift shop. The lodge's dining room just completed a major renovation and was renamed the Red Rock Grill. The lodge's lobby now has a new look with hardwood flooring and overstuffed leather couches. The park is renowned for its sightseeing and hiking and is open year round. Most hiking trails are open throughout the winter.
