· Delta Connection Increases Regional Jet Flights Between Little Rock, Ark., and Dallas-Ft. Worth LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (September 8, 2003) - Delta Connection will offer customers the comfort and convenience of an additional daily round-trip regional jet flight between Little Rock, Ark., and Dallas/Ft. Worth International Airport beginning Oct. 1, 2003. The new service, operated by Delta Connection carrier Atlantic Southeast Airlines, will improve Delta's (NYSE: DAL) flight schedule at Little Rock and increase seat capacity.
With the new service, Little Rock passengers will enjoy the convenience of 14 daily nonstop flights to three Delta and Delta Connection hubs - including six flights to Dallas/Ft. Worth, five flights to Atlanta and three flights to Cincinnati. "Our business customers continue to tell us that flight frequency is very important to them," said Fred Buttrell, president and chief executive officer, Delta Connection Inc. "The new schedule provides Little Rock business travelers with an additional morning flight to Dallas/Ft. Worth and a new evening flight home." Known for convenience, comfort and speed, the CRJs feature a comfortable two-by-two seating arrangement; every seat is an aisle or window, with no middle seats. The plane can cruise at 530 mph at altitudes as high as 41,000 feet, and is recognized as the quietest commercial aircraft in the world. Delta Connection includes Delta Air Lines' wholly owned subsidiaries Atlantic Southeast Airlines and Comair, additional regional carriers Atlantic Coast Airlines, Chautauqua Airlines and SkyWest Airlines, and codeshare partner American Eagle (in California).
