Sale Fares Available In Most Domestic Markets

ATLANTA (September 22, 2003) - Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) today introduced a sale in most of its domestic markets, including Alaska, Hawaii and Canada.

"We're offering great deals for fall travel throughout the United States and Canada," said Harlan Bennett, vice president-Revenue Management.

Fares are valid for travel from Oct. 13, 2003, through Jan. 31, 2004. The lowest sale fares are valid for travel on Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday; slightly higher fares apply for travel Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday. Fares require a 21-day advance purchase and a one night minimum stay. Tickets must be purchased by Sept. 28, 2003. Some blackout dates apply. See below for details and other important restrictions.

Restrictions: Tickets are non-transferable. Seats are limited and fares may not be available on all flights or in all markets. Tickets: Tickets must be purchased on a round-trip basis on or before Sep. 28, 2003. Except for tickets purchased on delta.com, ticketing must be completed by midnight 1 day after the reservations are confirmed or at least 21 days prior to departure, whichever comes first, but no later than Sep. 28, 2003. See delta.com for online ticket purchase requirements and restrictions. Travel period: Travel must begin no earlier than Oct. 13, 2003. All travel must be completed by Jan. 31, 2004. Blackout dates: Fares are not available on Nov. 21-22, 25-26, 29; Dec. 1, 22-23, 26-28, 2003; and Jan. 2-4, 2004. Fare Validity: Fares are valid in the economy (coach) cabin on Delta/Delta Connection and Song flights only. Fares are valid for travel Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday. Higher fares apply for travel Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday. Minimum Stay: A one night minimum stay is required. Maximum Stay: 30 days. Cancellations/Refunds/Changes: Fares are nonrefundable. Delta may permit you to apply a portion of the fare value to future travel upon payment of applicable fees and fare difference, otherwise, the ticket will have no value. Contact a Delta Agent for details. Taxes/Fees: Fares do not include a $3.00 Federal Excise Tax, which will be imposed on each flight segment in the passenger's ticketed itinerary. A flight segment is defined as a takeoff and a landing. Fares do not include Passenger Facility Charge(s) of up to $18.00, depending on itinerary. For travel to/from Hawaii/Alaska, International Air Transportation tax of up to $13.40 round-trip applies. Canada Taxes are not included and may fluctuate based on Banker`s Selling Rate on the day tickets are issued. These taxes and fees are the responsibility of the passenger and must be paid at the time of purchase. Miscellaneous: Fares and rules are subject to change without notice. It is the responsibility of the passenger to be in possession of all necessary documentation (e.g., valid passport, visa, where applicable) at the time of departure from origin.
