· Delta Connection To Offer Customers Expanded Jet Service Between Delta's Cincinnati Hub, Bangor, Maine And Tri-cities, Tenn. And From Delta's Atlanta Hub And Flint, Mich.
CINCINNATI (Aug. 5, 2003) - Delta Connection will offer customers expanded daily nonstop jet service between Delta Air Lines' (NYSE: DAL) hub at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky and Bangor, Maine, with one additional round-trip flight to begin Sept. 28, 2003. Delta Connection carrier Comair will operate the new flight with Bombardier CRJ regional jets.
With the new schedule, customers traveling between Cincinnati and Bangor will have a choice of four daily Delta and Delta Connection departures.
"Our customers, especially business travelers, tell us that having a selection of flight times is important to them," said Fred Buttrell, president and chief executive officer of Delta Connection, Inc. "Adding a round-trip flight between Bangor and Cincinnati allows Delta Connection to offer even greater customer convenience."
Customers traveling through Delta's hub in Cincinnati may choose from more than 560 daily departures to 125 non-stop domestic and international destinations.
Known for its convenience, comfort and speed, the CRJ carries passengers in a two-by-two seating arrangement; every seat is an aisle or window, with no middle seats. The plane can cruise at a speed of 530 mph at altitudes as high as 41,000 feet and is recognized as the quietest commercial jet aircraft in the world.
Delta Connection carriers include Delta's wholly owned subsidiaries Atlantic Southeast Airlines and Comair, additional regional carriers Atlantic Coast Airlines, Chautauqua Airlines and SkyWest Airlines, and codeshare partner American Eagle (in California). Delta Connection carriers operate more than 350 regional jets throughout North America.

FLINT, MI (August 5, 2003) - Delta Connection will offer customers daily nonstop jet service between Flint, Mich., and Delta Air Lines' (NYSE: DAL) hub at Atlanta Hartsfield International Airport, effective Sept. 20. Delta Connection carrier Comair will operate the new flights with the popular Bombardier CRJ regional jets.
The new jet service to Atlanta complements three daily nonstop jet flights currently offered by Delta Connection between Flint's Bishop International Airport and Delta's second largest hub at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport.
