· Cunard Line Partners With Marquis Jet New vacation package combines private jet with QM2 transatlantic MIAMI - What could be better than cruising in the best suite on board the $780-million luxury liner Queen Mary 2? Only one thing: flying to or from the ship via your own private Gulfstream IV-SP jet. Under a new partnership between Cunard Line and Marquis Jet, travellers now have the option to purchase private air transportation in connection with itineraries offered aboard the new Queen Mary 2 - the longest, tallest, widest and most expensive luxury liner ever built. "The Ultimate QM2 Vacation," an exclusive package offered by Cunard, pairs one of the two top suites on QM2 for a six-night crossing between Southampton, England, and New York with one-way transatlantic air via private jet and two-night stays in the most luxurious suites of the Mandarin Oriental hotels in New York and London, plus ground transfers by limousine. The Ultimate QM2 Vacation is priced at $99,850 per person, based on double occupancy. As many as 10 passengers can travel by private jet - the extra eight guests must pay for their accommodations at sea and ashore. Passengers can also purchase Marquis Jet's private jet services in combination with any voyage. The vessel will also introduce a series of Caribbean cruises from New York and Fort Lauderdale; a voyage to Rio and back, timed for Carnival; five Europe itineraries and two fall cruises to Canada & New England.
