· $499 For Three Nights With Air To Hong Kong, Shanghai Or Beijing Offered By Pacific Delight Tours For Bookings Through September 15 NEW YORK (August 19, 2003) - Pacific Delight Tours is featuring air-inclusive rates starting at $499 per person, double occupancy, on three-night/five-day, single-city packages to Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing for new bookings made by September 15, travel between September 3 and March 31. Participants depart San Francisco, New York-JFK, Los Angeles, Seattle and Honolulu on United Airlines; add-on air from 27 other major UAL gateways is $120. Departures at these rates are limited and subject to availability.
Daily departures to Hong Kong include stays at either the deluxe Harbour Plaza or New World Renaissance, or superior first-class Miramar Hotel or Newton Hotel. Packages range from $499 to $868, with the lowest rate available January 1 to March 27 at the Newton. Monday departures to Shanghai feature a stay at the superior first-class Hua Ting Hotel & Towers with rates of $499 to $698, the lowest for the November 24, December 8, January 12 and February 16 departures. In Beijing, travelers leaving Sundays stay at the deluxe State Guest Hotel Presidential Plaza, while those departing on Wednesdays overnight at the superior first-class Rosedale Hotel & Suites Beijing. Rates range from $499 -- November 26, December 10, January 7 and February 11 departures -- to $748. A $45 each-way surcharge applies to travel Friday to Sunday for Hong Kong only. The three locally hosted packages include roundtrip trans-Pacific air, accommodations, local professional, bilingual guides, sightseeing, daily breakfast and some lunches (except Hong Kong), transfers, baggage handling, hotel taxes and service charges, and $100,000 in flight insurance when overseas air reservations are ticketed by the company. Discounted seven-day packages, priced from $588 for Hong Kong, $648 for Beijing and $658 for Shanghai, are an alternative for travelers wishing to stay longer.
