· Millennium Hotel, Cincinnati Lends A Helping Hand To The Homeless By Preparing Meals For The Drop-in Center
CINCINNATI, OH (August 12, 2003) - Millennium Hotel Cincinnati has announced that it will prepare meals for over 200 homeless individuals on two occasions in conjunction with the Drop-In Center in Over the Rhine. The hotel will provide a full Thanksgiving feast with turkey during the Thanksgiving holiday and a complete dinner in January. Throughout the year, the hotel donates additional food items and clothing to the Center.

Ken Cherry, Human Resources Director for the Millennium Hotel, Cincinnati said, "These are two very special days for us. Our employees are very pleased to be involved and to be able to give something back to their city."

Community involvement is a top priority at the Millennium Hotel, Cincinnati. Its staff has been engaged in a number of service activities. The hotel and its associates have participated in charitable events such as the Mentor Arts Program, "Dancing with Shadows," blood donation drives and the creation of a "Millennium Milers Team" to participate in the American Cancer Society's "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" walk.

The hotel has been involved with the Drop-In Center for the past two years. The organization feeds, clothes, shelters and provides job training for the homeless, as well as offering counseling for drug abuse. They also offer on-premise medical treatment and care to the residents, courtesy of the Cincinnati Health Department.
