WASHINGTON, D.C. (July 28, 2003) - In a continued effort to support the needs of business traveler guests, effective immediately, the Willard InterContinental Washington hotel will offer complimentary high speed wireless internet in its public areas, it was announced today by General Manager, Jean-Jacques Reibel.

The wireless high speed Internet will be available in the grand lobby, where the term "Lobbyist" was coined, the elegant Peacock Alley promenade, the historic Round Robin Bar and Cafe 1401, the hotel's casual dining restaurant. In order to access the Internet, guests will need to utilize their own personal computer, a Laptop/PDA, that is WiFi (802.11) compatible.
