· Seasons' Guest Chef Creates A Delicious Meal At A Delicious Price For Boston's Annual Restaurant Week BOSTON, MA (July 24, 2003) - Seasons at the Millennium Bostonian Hotel, Boston is excited to announce that guest chef, Brian Poe, has created a special menu that will be unveiled at Boston's annual Restaurant Week celebration, presented by the Greater Boston Convention and Visitors Bureau and promoted by American Express. Beginning August 18, 2003 and continuing through August 22, 2003, 76 of Greater Boston's finer restaurants will be serving a three-course lunch for $20.03 and dinner for a mere $30.03 per person. Seasons hours are 11:30 am until 2 pm for lunch and 6 pm until 9 pm for dinner, Monday through Friday. Dine at Seasons on Saturday, August 23, 2003 between 6 pm and 9 pm to take advantage of Seasons extended Restaurant Week pricing. Reservations are recommended; please call 617-523-3600. Poe comes to Seasons from the acclaimed Pinon Grill, at the Millennium Resort, Scottsdale, McCormick Ranch in Scottsdale, AZ. In recent years, he has enjoyed cooking side by side with renowned chefs such as Morgan Robinson of the Franciscan Oakville Estate in St. Helena, CA. Sure to please any palate, his delectable menu will feature entrees such as Coriander Dusted Atlantic Salmon, New England Crab Cakes, Pan Seared Red Snapper Served with Sunflower Seed Risotto, and Peppercorn Crusted Pork Tenderloin. Additional highlights will include items such as Sweet Summer Lobster Salad Sandwich, Apple Cider New York Strip, Calamari Salad and Double Chocolate Mousse Cake. "These recipes draw on my past experiences in kitchens around the country, which give regional favorites a new twist," said Poe. Seasons restaurant, noted by the Zagat Survey as "exquisite from beginning to end," was the recent recipient of two prestigious food and beverage industry awards for its creative New American cuisine, expansive wine list and superior service. Wine Spectator Magazine recognized Seasons in its annual Award Program as having "one of the most outstanding wine lists in the world." And as a winner of the DiRoNA Award of Excellence, Seasons is featured in the organization's 2002 Guide to Distinguished Restaurants in North America. Even the mysterious Phantom Gourmet recognizes Seasons as "Phan-tastic Dining" with a score of 91. The Phantom raved about the Seasons, describing it as "simply a wonderful dining room for a celebration, where both the extensive wine list and the intriguing cuisine stand out on the menu, while leaving diners stunned with their excellence."
