· Superior Small Lodging Creates Presence In New England CAMDEN, Maine (July 17, 2003) - The Superior Small Lodging (SSL) Association today announced that it has taken its brand designation and services to the New England region through an agreement with John Hendrie of Ragsdale Associates of Portsmouth, New Hampshire and Merrimac, Massachusetts. Hendrie and his colleagues are viewed critical to the formation, marketing, distribution and support functions of SSL's market entry into the New England region.
"By joining forces with John, SSL will be positioned to provide regionalized expertise to the association's branding and marketing efforts in New England," stated Donal A. Dermody, President of Superior Small Lodging Association. "Our entry effectively allows us to address regional issues and prioritize our marketing efforts relevant to the needs of small lodgings there." An essential part of creating brand awareness is regional support. Our strategy is to create a well-organized, regionally coordinated office to differentiate distinctive small lodgings. I would believe that our history and the SSL brand - denoting cleanliness, comfort and security as determined by our inspection assessment - would have true import," says Hendrie.
