· Close To 50% Savings Off New Marquis Los Cabos Resort Offered For Last Minute Travelers Through October 10 LOS CABOS, Mexico (July 14, 2003) - The newest deluxe resort in Los Cabos, the 237-suite Marquis Los Cabos Beach, Golf, Spa and Casitas Resort, is offering special late summer and fall internet only rates of $200 for a junior suite. This rate represents a discount of 50 % off of upcoming winter 2003/4 rates and includes a Marquis breakfast served daily to each suite. The special is available from now through October 10,2003. The Marquis Los Cabos features a dramatic 36-foot waterfall, a chef with a Michelin pedigree, and a major Latin American art collection. A member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World, it is on the tip of Baja California, where the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific Ocean meet, nestled between Jack Nicklaus and Robert Trent II designed 18-hole golf courses, one of which is ranked number one in Mexico. A special golf desk arranges preferential tee times and reduced greens fees. Owned and operated by Hoteles Marquis, the new property boasts 203 junior suites and 28 "casitas," one-bedroom apartments. The Resort honors its distinct natural surroundings with views from every room of the open beach and several gardens filled with colorful local flowers and cacti. All the suites offer a choice of reversible firm or soft mattress, goose-down comforters, Frette bed linens, high speed internet access, full hydro-massage bath with an ocean view, and plush robes and slippers for lounging on each room's personal balcony. Guests have a choice of two restaurants presided over by executive chef Thierry Dufour who has a pedigree of a two star Michelin restaurant. Marquis Los Cabos combines dramatic contemporary Mexican architecture in the school of Barragan and Legorreta with traditional Southwestern Santa Fe style, to create an elegant, comfortable design all its own. An extensive art collection features specially commissioned oil paintings and bronze sculptures by leading Latin American artists. An original oil painting is featured in each suite.
