· Biras Creek Resort On Virgin Gorda To Launch New 'Wellness' Facility November 1, 2003 VIRGIN GORDA, BVI (July 14, 2003) - Biras Creek, a 31-suite resort on Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands, will open a new wellness and body treatment facility on November 1. The Relais & Chateaux property, which is known for its high-end services, excellent cuisine and private and serene location, will feature an intimately sized treatment center further enhancing the pampering and relaxing ambiance that guests experience.
The treatment center will house two massage rooms, a wet room, manicure and pedicure room, waiting and relaxation area, showers and an outdoor yoga platform. The center will be available for guests of the resort only and a potpourri of therapeutic treatments will be available such as body and facial treatments, massage, acupuncture, Reiki and one-on-one yoga sessions, among others. In addition, the resort's already existing oceanfront massage hut will remain available for wave splashed treatments. Sample rates at the center will range from $55-$110 for massage and $60-$75 for body and facial. Private yoga sessions will start at $50.
