Return fares start as low as $183 CAD between Vancouver and San Francisco, and $354 CAD between Vancouver and Miami. Plus, customers can save an additional $15 CAD ($10 USD) when they purchase any of these fares online at www.alaskaair.com and www.horizonair.com. Tickets must be purchased by July 10 for travel through Nov. 19. Sample return fares, in Canadian dollars, are: Between Vancouver, Kelowna or Victoria and: Return Fare San Francisco, San Jose, Oakland, Sacramento or Reno: $183 Las Vegas: $211 Los Angles, Burbank, Ontario Calif. or Long Beach: $240 Santa Barbara or Fresno: $240 Phoenix or Tucson: $240 Denver or Miami: $354 New York/Newark: $363 Orange County, San Diego or Palm Springs: $256 Boston or Washington, D.C.: $368 Between Calgary and: Return Fare San Francisco, San Jose, Oakland or Sacramento: $211 Los Angles, Burbank, Ontario Calif. or Long Beach: $288 Phoenix: $282 A seven-day advance purchase is required. Fares to East Coast destinations are for travel Tuesday and Wednesday. Travel to other destinations are for travel Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday. Travel beginning Tuesdays or Wednesdays requires a Friday-night stay. Travel beginning Saturdays, requires a Saturday-night stay. Fares do not include NAVCAN surcharge of $15 CAD; U.S. security fee of up to $18 CAD; U.S. airport fees of up to $28 CAD (varies by routing); GST of up to $34 CAD (varies by market); U.S. transportation tax of $42 CAD; Vancouver Airport improvement fee of $10 CAD; Canadian security fee of $12 CAD; and U.S. immigration fee of $11 CAD.
