· Radisson Plaza Hotel Myrtle Beach Receives AAA's Prestigious Four Diamond Award
The Radisson Plaza Hotel is the Only Hotel in Myrtle Beach to be Honored with this Recognition

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - The Radisson Plaza Hotel Myrtle Beach received the American Automobile Association's Four Diamond Award, one of AAA's highest honors in the hotel industry.

AAA sets strict criteria for properties to gain the Four Diamond distinction. AAA representatives are sent throughout the world to assess properties and professionally judge which rating the property should receive. The guidelines that a property must meet in order to be given the Four Diamond rating include: the establishment must be upscale in all areas; accommodations must be progressively refined and stylish; the physical attributes must reflect an obvious enhanced level of quality throughout the hotel; and the fundamental hallmarks of the property must include an extensive array of amenities combined with a high degree of hospitality, service and attention to detail.

"AAA's Four Diamond rating is one of the highest honors given in the hotel industry," said Tom Crosby, Vice President of Communications for AAA Carolinas. "It is especially significant for a hotel in Myrtle Beach to receive this honor. To be awarded four diamonds by AAA, a hotel is required to take the extra time and effort to provide the highest service and attention to guests."

"We are extremely honored to receive such a prestigious award from the country's most respected travel information leader," said Michael Poynter, Vice President and General Manager of the Radisson Plaza Hotel Myrtle Beach. "Receiving this award confirms that the Radisson is one of the most upscale hotels in South Carolina.
