· Now Here's A Novel Idea - Books On Call At The Charles Hotel!
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Harvard Square has more bookstores per square mile than any other city in the country, and it's been said that there are enough Nobel Prize winners in Cambridge to form a baseball team. Now, at The Charles Hotel, Harvard Square, best sellers and new book titles are just a few digits away. Guests looking for a particular book can simply dial 1-2-3-4 on their guestroom telephone and be connected to famous independent bookseller, Wordsworth Books in Harvard Square.

A Charles Hotel "literary agent" delivers orders placed with Wordsworth to guestrooms. The cost of the book and a nominal delivery charge are added to the guest's hotel room account. While not all titles maybe in stock, every effort is made to accommodate requests.

The Charles Hotel also has an extensive in-house book collection. Guests are invited to browse and borrow books from the Library, located in the hotel lobby. Many titles are personally autographed by authors who frequently visit the Charles or who take part in an ongoing author series sponsored by Wordsworth and The Charles. Recent authors have included Sebastian Junger, David Mamet, William Kristol and Caroline Kennedy. Together, The Charles Hotel and Wordsworth Books are pleased to continue the tradition of literary greatness in Harvard Square.

Please call The Charles Hotel at 617-864-1200 or 1-800-882-1818 to make reservations, or visit www.charleshotel.com for more information.
