· Delta Shuttle Resumes Hourly Service SkyMiles Members Earn Double Miles Through June 30ATLANTA - Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) today announced that effective June 2 it will restore its scheduled hourly flights on weekday Shuttle service between New York's La Guardia and Boston's Logan International airports and between La Guardia and Washington's Reagan National airports. In addition, SkyMiles members will earn double miles on paid Shuttle flights flown until June 30. The restoration of the hourly service, which was reduced in response to a decline in passenger demand as a result of military action in Iraq, will once again establish Delta Shuttle as one of the leading airlines offering customers frequent flight service in the Northeast Corridor (Boston, New York and Washington, D.C.). "Our Delta Shuttle customers have told us that they rely on us to provide them with hourly service," said Patrice Miles, vice president of Consumer Marketing. "Coupled with our superior on-time departure rating, we provide our customers with things they value most - convenient hourly departures and on-time reliability." The restored Shuttle schedule, which closely resembles the schedule prior to reduction, will offer 16 roundtrip flights between New York and Boston and 15 roundtrip flights between New York and Washington, D.C., every weekday. Weekend and holiday schedules may vary. Please visit delta.com for schedule listings. To participate in this double miles offer, SkyMiles members must enroll prior to travel at delta.com/skymilesoffers or by calling 800-558-3358 and entering code 4027. With these bonus offers, members will earn a total of 1,000 SkyMiles per paid segment. Members' accounts will be automatically credited with the bonus miles four to six weeks after their travel date. For complete terms and conditions and more information on the SkyMiles program, please visit delta.com/skymilesoffers. All standard Delta SkyMiles program rules and conditions apply. Delta Shuttle airplanes are equipped with all-leather seats and an average of 36 inches of seat pitch. Each Shuttle flight offers guaranteed seating for all passengers arriving at the gate at least five minutes prior to departure. If a scheduled flight is full, Delta Shuttle will roll out another aircraft within 30 minutes or award the passenger a free Delta Shuttle ticket, pending air traffic control and weather. Reservations are not required. Media Contact: Corporate Communications 404-715-2554 |
