· Five Pools, Fourteen Bars & Restaurants And Three Miles Of Sandy White Beach - Iberostar's Newest Resort Offers It All
Iberostar Paraiso Lindo To Open November 2003

MIAMI - This November Mexico's Riviera Maya region will be welcoming Iberostar Paraiso Lindo, a 446-room all-inclusive beach resort offering five pools, access to fourteen bars and restaurants and more than three miles of sandy white beach. Adjacent to its sister hotels Iberostar Paraiso Beach and Iberostar Paraiso del Mar, Iberostar Paraiso Lindo will be the sixth Iberostar hotel in Mexico and the third in the Playa Paraiso area located just twenty-five minutes from the Cancun International Airport.

"The Iberostar Paraiso del Mar and Iberostar Paraiso Beach have experienced tremendous success and we are growing to meet demand," said Mr. Manuel Borja, General Manager of the Iberostar Paraiso Resorts.

Iberostar Paraiso Lindo will feature Mexican architectural accents in the guest rooms, which are located in five three-story bungalow style buildings surrounded by tropical gardens. Room amenities include satellite color TV with remote control, coffee maker, complimentary mini bar, direct-dial telephones, in-room safe deposit box, air conditioning and ceiling fan. All rooms provide private marble bathrooms with shower and hairdryer. The two presidential suites and 14 of the 62 junior suites offer whirlpools on the private balconies.

"Each building is designed to replicate a small village, complete with a courtyard," said Mr. Borja. "The design creates the feel of a small inn with all the amenities and luxuries of a big resort."

As do ten Iberostar Hotels & Resorts in the Caribbean, Iberostar Paraiso Lindo will offer an all-inclusive vacation experience. All meals, entertainment, activities and more are included in one daily rate. Guests enjoy a dine-around option at all the restaurants and bars of Iberostar Paraiso Lindo and its sister resorts Iberostar Paraiso Del Mar and Iberostar Paraiso Beach. Cuisine ranges from international, Southwest/Cajun, Asian, Italian and gourmet to sandwiches at a casual grill and snack bar. Complimentary room service will also be available.

"The biggest difference from other Iberostar resorts is the pool," says Borja, "Our experience and research has revealed a passion for pools among our guests and so with each new resort we create, we add the features our guests desire. Iberostar Paraiso Lindo offers a winding river and five pools: two lake pools, a wave pool, an activities pool and a children's pool."

In addition to enjoying the freshwater pools, guests can spend exhilarating days sailing on a Catamaran, windsurfing, sea kayaking and snorkeling. Guests seeking a little friendly competition can partake in tennis, water polo, beach volleyball, basketball, table tennis and billiards. Water skiing and banana boat rides are also offered at the resort's SCUBA Diving Center, which provides certification courses to beginners and challenging dives for more advanced divers at an additional charge.

To further expand the resort groups offerings in the Playa Paraiso area, Iberostar will offer a conference center, opening in December 2003, and PB Dye designed 18-hole championship golf course, opening in 2005. The conference center, a first in the Riviera Maya area, will be fully equipped with its own state of the art business center, separate lobby, private meeting rooms and catering facility. The main conference center is 15,683 square feet which divides into six rooms (or less depending on the needs). There are also four independent rooms. Two of these are 828 square feet and the other two are 414 square feet. All four can be divided into two (total of 8 rooms).

"With over 1,250 rooms in Playa Paraiso, Iberostar will be able to host large meetings and provide the accommodations, activities and service needed to ensure the event is a success," said Mr. Borja.
