· Anglers Away...The Inn At Robert's Grove Offers Fly Fishing Adventure To Belize's "Out Islands" PLACENCIA, Belize (December 18, 2003) - The only resort in Placencia with its own fly fishing center, The Inn at Robert's Grove is offering a new fly fishing package unavailable anywhere else in Belize. The "Out Island" Fly Fishing package will give serious anglers three different top locations in southern Belize and the opportunity to achieve fly fishing's greatest challenge, The Grand Slam. The locations include the Inn at Robert's Grove, Seal Caye, in the Sapodilla Cayes Marine reserve, and Ranguana Caye on the Barrier Reef, the largest reef in the Western Hemisphere, all within minutes of the finest and most varied fishing locations in the Caribbean.
The "Out Island" Fly Fishing package is offered for four or seven nights starting at $1,356 per person based on double occupancy and $2,504 for single occupancy from December 1, 2003 - May 31, 2004; and $1,317 and $2,426 from June 1 - November 30, 2004 respectively. The package includes airport transfers; accommodations at the Inn at Robert's Grove, Seal Caye and Ranguana Caye; all meals; 3 or 6 full days of fishing; guide and boat charter; fishing gear; complimentary use of the Inn's two pools, tennis court, rooftop Jacuzzis, canoes, kayaks, windsurfing boards, fitness equipment and bicycles; and all applicable taxes and service charge. The Inn at Robert's Grove Fly Fishing Center is equipped to handle the fishing needs of the advanced, intermediate and novice fisherman. The Fly fishing Center features new 23' skiffs each outfitted with cushion seats, a casting platform, dry storage for cameras and clothing, VHF radios and are powered by 2000 Yamaha and Honda 4 stroke outboard engines. The center also houses a Pro Shop loaded with all of the necessities, including fly, spin, and trolling equipment, flies and leaders, as well as fly fishing rental equipment. The 32-room Inn at Robert's Grove has been awarded Fodor's star rating and five stars by Belize Guide to Mainland Belize. On 15 acres, the property is owned by Risa and Bob Frackman, transplanted New Yorkers who place an emphasis on great food, hospitality and ease of travel.
