· Delta Air Lines Celebrates Industry's 100 Years by Thanking Atlanta Customers Atlantans to receive special offers and surprises at the airport and around townATLANTA (December 11, 2003) - Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) is celebrating the 100th anniversary of flight and thanking its Atlanta customers for their business between Dec. 15 and Dec. 19, 2003. The hometown airline will celebrate with customers onboard 100 select flights and at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport through special events, gifts and festivities. On Dec. 17, 1903, the Wright brothers' first successful flight took place in Kitty Hawk, NC, at 10:35 a.m. and lasted 12 seconds, traveling 120 feet. To celebrate this momentous occasion, Delta flight attendants will present special gifts and make celebratory on-board announcements on 100 select Delta flights on Wednesday, Dec. 17. Additionally, Delta will: * Offer one day of free parking to Atlanta SkyMiles members between Dec. 15 and Dec. 19 at Park 'N Fly Plus, located at 2525 Camp Creek Parkway. Customers must show a Delta SkyMiles Credit Card, SkyMiles membership card or other travel documentation with a SkyMiles number. * Treat Atlanta SkyMiles members to free valet parking at Lenox and Perimeter malls between Dec. 13 and 24. Holiday shoppers must present their Delta SkyMiles Credit Card by American Express, SkyMiles membership card or other Delta travel documentation with a SkyMiles number to parking attendants. * Invite customers flying through Atlanta to use new complimentary electronic charging stations and massage chairs on Delta's concourses. Stations include power outlets to charge laptops, cellular phones and other electronic devices. * Distribute coupons for $1 off Coca-Cola(R) products and a complimentary weekday issue of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, USA TODAY or Wall Street Journal redeemable at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport vendors. "This anniversary is an historic milestone for the aviation industry.
