· Mandarin Oriental Inaugurates New Era Of Luxury In Miami
MIAMI (November 24, 2003) - Mandarin Oriental, Miami, open to guests since November 2000 provides unsurpassed levels of luxury and service in Miami. The city's only AAA Five Diamond hotel is ideally located on Brickell Key, a 44-acre island in Biscayne Bay considered one of Miami's most prestigious commercial and residential locations, just minutes from Miami's international financial district and convenient to Miami International Airport, South Beach, Bayside and Coconut Grove.

The deluxe 329-room waterfront hotel, with its contemporary and dynamic design, features Miami's most spacious guestrooms and suites. The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Miami provides a combination of pampering and rejuvenating treatments for mind, body and spirit. Guestrooms
The hotel's spacious guestrooms and suites evoke a serene, residential feel and provide spectacular views from balconies and terraces overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Biscayne Bay and the Miami skyline. The guest room interiors draw on the sophistication of a cosmopolitan city with diverse cultural influences. A tranquil and elegant haven, the guest rooms combine contemporary touches from South Florida with exotic Asian elements, such as the bamboo hardwood floors in the hotel's suites to the Spanish marble bathroom tiles in all rooms. All guestrooms are equipped with dual phone lines, cordless phone, high speed internet access, Bose sound system, fax and data ports.

Spa Facilities
The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Miami is a tri-level sanctuary offering panoramic waterfront views and treatments blending elements of East and West. Each spa experience has been created as a sequence of rituals and treatments inspired by the elements of life and the ancient traditions of Chinese, Ayurvedic, European, Balinese and Thai. Glass elevators transport guests from the lobby level and pool deck to The Spa, with 17 treatment rooms, including six private suites (and a couples' suite). All suites have glass windows overlooking the bay. Adjoining The Spa is a comprehensive fitness center, infinity-edge swimming pool and a spectacular beach with private cabanas for outdoor spa treatments catering to singles and couples.

Dining
The hotel has successfully brought chic and dynamic waterfront dining opportunities to Miami with two restaurants - one for all-day dining and one signature restaurant - both overlooking Biscayne Bay and designed by Tony Chi and Associates of New York.

Cafe Sambal, the hotel's all-day restaurant, has waterfront terrace seating as well as ample inside dining in a casual, relaxed environment. Azul, the signature restaurant - which was honored with the coveted AAA Five Diamond Award, provides stunning bay views, a vibrant atmosphere and innovative cuisine from Chef Michelle Bernstein.

The lobby features the Lobby Lounge on the north end and M-Bar on the south end, specializing in martinis and champagne by the glass, both with two-story, floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the waterfront and the Miami skyline.

Meeting, Conference and Banquet Facilities
Extensive conference and banquet facilities features 15,000-square-feet of space, including an elegant ballroom with seating for more than 600 people. Glass windows provide natural light and waterfront views in several of the versatile meeting rooms. In addition, the hotel has a state-of-the-art business center.

Seasonal Room Rates
Room rates for Fall 2003 (October 1 - December 31) rates are from $495 to $700 with suites ranging from $1,000 to $3,000. Winter 2004 (January 1 - April 30) rates are from $595 to $800 with suites from $1,250 to $3,500. Spring 2004 (May 1 - May 31) rates are from $495 to $700 with suites from $1,000 to $3,000. The Oriental Suite (Presidential Suite), which includes separate living and dining rooms, fireplace, multi-media screening room and wrap-around balcony, is available from $4,000 to $5,000 year-round.
