· Torrey Pines Golf and Fun in November
SAN DIEGO, Calif. (October 26, 2003) - Enjoy rounds of golf at world-famous Torrey Pines Golf Course and enjoy the camaraderie of a friendly and interesting group of fellow golfers. Event begins Sunday, November 9 and ends Thursday, November 13.

Everything begins at an opening cocktail reception and dinner on Sunday evening. On Monday and Wednesday morning we'll be playing golf at Torrey Pines North and South, where the US Open will be held in just a few years. A third round will be played on Tuesday at the beautiful Meadows del Mar course.

After each round, we return to our host hotel, the Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines, for cocktails and conversation including the results of the day. And on Wednesday evening we hold an awards banquet where prizes are awarded.

Golfers are encouraged to stay at the Hilton with us and bring along non-playing companions. Those companions who do not play golf are invited to join us at the San Diego Zoo on Monday and at the Spa at Torrey Pines on Tuesday. For those staying at the Hilton, breakfasts are included.

About Us

The National Senior Golf Association (NSGA) has been running golf events at resort locations for more than ten years. Headquartered in Hamilton Square, New Jersey the NSGA is a membership organization that provides golfing opportunities and other benefits to its members. A semi-monthly newsletter details future events, reports on past events, offers golfing advice and assistance and general organization news.

Although our events are aimed at those 50+, we do allow "youngsters" to enjoy these golf opportunities as well (although they cannot win the prizes). Each event we run is four or five days in length, with three or four rounds of golf included. Prizes are awarded for low gross and low net scores. Plus there are always social events available for those who do not play golf.
