· Alaska Airlines Begins New Nonstop Service From Spokane To Los Angeles And Offers Double Miles SEATTLE (October 24, 2003) - Alaska Airlines is offering double miles on its new nonstop service between Spokane and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). The new service starts this Sunday, October 26.
The flights are timed for easy business connections with a 7:15 a.m. departure from Spokane and 8:05 pm return. The flights also offer easy, same-day connections to six of Alaska Airlines Mexico resort destinations. Alaska Airlines is offering an introductory fare of $86 each-way based on round-trip purchase between Spokane and Los Angeles for travel through February 11, 2004. Tickets must be purchased by October 30 and require a 14-day advance purchase and a one-night minimum stay. The fare is subject to blackout dates and day of week restrictions. Fare is nonrefundable but can be changed for only a $50 fee and any applicable change in fare. Seats are limited and may not be available on all flights or all days. Other restrictions may apply. Fare does not include airport passenger facility charges of up to $18 depending on itinerary, September 11th security fee of $2.50 per takeoff and landing up to $10, and federal segment tax of $3 per takeoff and landing. Double Miles offer is valid only on qualifying paid nonstop flights operated by Alaska Airlines between Spokane and LAX that are completed by December 31, 2003. Miles must be credited to an Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan account. Double Miles applies to actual miles flown and do not count toward MVP or MVP Gold status. Other restrictions may apply.
