· Napa Valley's Silverado Resort Offers Winter-Season Golf Deal; Golfers Can Save 66 Percent On Suite, Golf
NAPA VALLEY, Calif. (October 21, 2003) - Silverado Resort in Napa Valley has introduced the "Golfer's Dream" package. Available November 30, 2003 through March 15, 2004, the package represents a discount of up to 66 percent.

The "Golfer's Dream" package includes one night in a one-bedroom suite and two rounds of golf on either of the resort's 18-hole Robert Trent Jones, Jr. golf courses. The package is available for $199 Sunday through Thursday and $249 on Friday and Saturday. The one-bedroom suite is normally priced at $355, and a round of golf is $150.

"This is an incredible deal for value-minded golfers who enjoy Napa Valley's mild wintertime climate," said Dan Edson, director of sales and marketing for the Silverado Resort. Wintertime temperatures are generally in the low- to mid-60s during the day, he said.

Silverado Resort has recently completed a $4 million golf course renovation. Built in 1953 and with a history of hosting PGA and Senior PGA tournaments, Silverado Resort's two 18-hole golf courses have been favorites of both professional and amateur golfers. In 1966, famed golf course architect Robert Trent Jones, Jr. redesigned and reconfigured the facility to feature two distinct 18-hole championship courses. The courses cover 360 acres and feature lush vegetation, ponds, lakes, three creeks, trees arching over the fairways and artfully placed traps and greens. Both courses are traditional in their design and allow for the natural flow of the Napa Valley to help develop their character.

The "Golfer's Dream" package can be reserved by calling (1) 707-257-0200 or (1) 800-532-0500. For more information about the resort, visit www.silveradoresort.com.
