· Carlisle Bay Contemporary Luxury On The Beach Opens November 2003 (October 17, 2003) - On a secluded beach in Antigua, with a backdrop of rolling hills and rainforest, Gordon Campbell Gray is launching his new hotel, Carlisle Bay.
Much more than urban chic hits the Caribbean, Carlisle Bay will have the same qualities that made One Aldwych an award-winning success when it opened in London five years ago. The new hotel will avoid the superfluous and the cliched and concentrate on what made One Aldwych such a modern classic - good service, understated luxury and timeless design. Campbell Gray, collaborating again with London designer Mary Fox Linton, has designed a series of 88 suites - from junior to three bedroom - all facing the Caribbean Sea, each with private terrace or balcony. Other stunning features include the Pavilion with its dramatic reception and bar, two exceptional restaurants East and Indigo on the Beach, three bars, and beautiful landscaped gardens. Guests can be revived in Blue (the spa, gym and well-being center), energized after a tennis game on one of the hotel's nine courts, and rejuvenated after a day next to the sea. It's not just about healthy bodies - healthy minds will be fed in the sublime Library and entertained in the 45 seat luxurious Screening Room. Carlisle Bay is a Campbell Gray Hotel, a small collection of exquisite, individual hotels in Europe and the Caribbean, where an eco-resort in Tobago is planned next. Meanwhile, at Carlisle Bay it's all about thoughtful service, fabulous food... and feeling great. Media Contact: Clare Bradshaw Clare Bradshaw Public Relations 718-237-4541 ClareBradshaw@aol.com |
