(October 1, 2003) Gallo of Sonoma today announced its affiliation with the Los Angeles Philharmonic and its status as the "Preferred Wines of the Los Angeles Philharmonic at Walt Disney Concert Hall" that allows music aficionados to experience world-class wines from Gallo of Sonoma while listening to some of the world's most talented musicians.
This collaboration creates the perfect pairing of elegance, architecture and design, and wine. The extraordinary Frank Gehry-designed Walt Disney Concert Hall will mark history when its doors open on October 23, and will be one of the most remarkable destinations in which to experience music. The sensory experience of architecture, acoustics and wines from Gallo of Sonoma, which will be available to concertgoers along with other premium wines at all intermission bars and in the two restaurants inside the concert hall, will be one of sight, sound and taste. The lauded work of architect Frank Gehry, the award-winning wines of third-generation family winemaker Gina Gallo, and the music created by Music Director Esa-Pekka Salonen and talented musicians will join together to create an unforgettable experience that will delight the senses.
