A&K to launch lower-priced tours
Upscale tour operator Abercrombie & Kent will introduce a new value brand called Connections by Abercrombie & Kent, in September. The new product, to be launched with 17 itineraries, will not include some of the luxury amenities usually associated A&K, and will be priced an average of 30% less than their current tours. Connections tours will have a maximum of 28 guests.
Interjet Fare Sale To Mexico City
To kick off Interjet's non-stop daily flights between New York's JFK and Mexico City, the airline is offering a special $349 round trip fare.

Marathon's Curry Hammock State Park has been awarded third place in the "America's Favorite Park" 2012 contest after a six-week online challenge that involved more than 16,000 national, state and local parks. Curry Hammock State Park garnered more than 8.2 million votes to earn the third-place slot. Carnival Stops Deck Chair Hogs?
"Hog" is pretty derogatory word, but "Chair Hog" is the term cruisers use for people who "reserve" deck chairs by going to the pool area in the early morning hours and placing a book on the best chair available. Not a very nice word but it accurately reflects how regular cruisers feel about these people and apparently for good reason. Often these chair hogs have no intention of even using the chair until after lunch, and in some cases people report that they come along after the chair has been sitting empty for hours and they just pick up the property that was "holding" the chair and walk away. | More...
