What We Are
Where To Go Next! is an international travel news distribution service offering a daily e-mailed travel newsletter containing summarized travel news releases linked to their full release on www.WhereToGoNext.com and in our searchable archive data base. Each newsletter also contains a travel feature written by the editors of Where To Go Next!.
Who We Are
Judi Janofsky
Prior to working as a travel writer, Judi held executive positions at the Miami Herald, and owned a marketing and public relations firm specializing in the hospitality and golf industries. Her first travel story was based on personal experience: The Five Most Romantic Places in Europe. Since then, her writing has taken a more adventurous turn - trekking through the backwaters of the Amazon, dog sledding in the Artic Circle and high altitude hiking in the mountains of Bolivia.
Rich Steck
Rich's background includes working in a variety of news media, including broadcasting (NBC, PBS/NPR), feature writing and special sections editing for the St. Petersburg Times and cable newscasting as Vice President of the Times' broadcast subsidiary. After a long stint handling public relations for Royal Caribbean International / Celebrity Cruises, he jumped ship to write about travel.
Alex Miceli
In 1993, Alex founded golf.com, a partnership between NBC Sports,
AT&T and Golf Digest Companies, the first website dedicated to covering golf. He served as the company's president until October 2000, when golf.com was sold. Prior to 1993, Alex was a managing director of Export Regulator Consulting Firm in Washington, D.C. Additionally, he served two separate stints in the Federal government and worked for Reuters News Service. Alex is currently publisher of The Wire, Where To Go Next's sister publication, The Outdoor Wire.
Alex is a contributing writer to numerous publications and newspapers including Golfweek, Links Magazine, Irish Independent, Daily Telegraph, Reuters and other publications.
Clark Wachsmuth
As Production Editor, Clark is responsible for the really important stuff, like putting together Where To Go Next! every day and developing all the software programming. Clark is currently a student of Computer Science in Portland, Oregon.
